Curtain tracks and rods can be a beautiful statement that adds the finishing touch to the heading of your curtains or they can be as unobtrusive as possible by blending in with your colours.

I've chosen to offer the selection below because I've used it for the past 16 years and can thoroughly recommend it. All the options in this range run beautifully smoothly when you open and close your curtains and the components are durable and well-made.

Step 1. Give your window/s a name/ID for future reference.

Step 2. Decide whether you need a single or double set and choose from the options below. Colours are examples only - all sets are available in the colours shown in Step 5 unless otherwise specified.

Single Sets

Set 1

Single Ultraglide track

A standard track suitable for curtains of any weight. Curtains cover this track when drawn across.

Can be bent around corners or angles.

Can be hand or cord-drawn.

Set 2

Single 19mm Rod with Glides

A slim profile rod but strong enough to hold light weight curtains. Nice for sheers.

Hand drawn only.

Can be bent around corners/angles.

Only available with Doric cap finial option

Set 3

Single 25mm Rod with Glides

The most popular size rod. For any weight curtain. Curtains hang below the rod.

Can be bent around corners/angles.

Hand drawn only.

Set 4

Single 30mm Square Rod with Glides

Curtains hang below this rod.

Hand or cord drawn.

Can be mitred but not bent.

Available in black, cirrus and satin chrome only.

Available with contrasting metal end caps or colour-cordinated plastic ones.

Single 25mm Rod with Rings

For more detail above your curtains. Hand drawn only.

For any weight curtain.

Can be bent around corners/angles.

Set 6

25mm Rod for Eyelet Curtains

Reinforced inside the rod to reduce sagging between brackets. Also has a PVC strip along the top to help eyelet curtains slide more easily.

Maximum width 3500mm.

Hand drawn only.

Single 35mm Rod with Glides

To make a statement in a home with high ceilings or very large windows. Curtains hang below the rod.

Hand or cord drawn.

For any weight of curtains.

Single 35mm Rod with Rings

For a bolder statement above your curtains. Hand drawn only.

For any weight curtain.

25mm Rod + Trick Track

For a main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain on the rear.

Set 10

Double Ultraglide Track

For a main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain on the rear - or for a sheer curtain on the front with a separate lining on the rear.

35mm Rod + 19mm Rod

For a main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain or separate lining on the rear.

35mm Rod + Ultraglide Track

For main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain or separate lining on the rear.

Ultraglide + Sheer Track

For a main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain on the rear.

Set 14

Square Rod + Sheer Track

For a main curtain on the front and a sheer curtain on the rear. Curtains hang below the front rod.

Available in black, cirrus and satin chrome only.

Front rod available with contrasting metal end caps or colour-cordinated plastic ones.

Speciality Tracks

Set 15

Trim Fit track

Top fits neatly inside the window reveal for sheer curtains.

Available in 5 colours - White, Ivory, Satin Chrome, Dark Brown and Cirrus

Hand drawn only

Set 16

Recessed/Flush Fit Track

Designed to be recessed into 13mm ceiling plasterboard, this track offers the most unobtrusive finish possible.

Hand drawn only. Each track can be bent around one corner or angle.

White colour only as standard (or can be custom powdercoated in Dulux powdercoat range).

Wave tracks and rods

Curtains made with a Wave heading need Wave tracks or rods made specifically for them.

Step 3. If you've selected a 35mm rod (single or double set) choose whether you'd like a plain or reeded finish.

Step 4. If you've chosen a 25mm or 35mm rod select the style of finial you'd like from the options below:

(Remember the 19mm rod is only available with the Doric Cap option)

NB. The sizes shown indicate how far past the end of your rod each finial will extend.

**Ball** (60mm for 25mm rods. 90mm for 35mm rods)

Step 5. Choose the colour you'd like from the options below:

Note: unless requested otherwise, all parts of your set will be the same colour - rod/track, finials and brackets.

Custom painted options are available as hand-painted washed or rubbed finishes. A 35% surcharge applies. View the options here.

Step 6. Download this guide then measure for your tracks/rods.

Specify the width required excluding any finials for rods (but make sure you allow room for these - the length of each finial is given in Step 2 above).

Step 7. Does your track/rod need to be bent around one or more angles or corners - eg a bay window?

If yes, simply specify the bend number as per page 3 of the measuring guide. This is enough information to provide you with a quote. If you accept the quote a diagram including the degree of each angle will be required (you will be supplied with more information at the time).

If you already have a diagram of the bend/s you can upload it when you request a quote below.

Step 8. Do you want your track or rod hand or cord drawn? For double sets please specify whether you want the front, rear or both cord-drawn (and which side you want the pull cord).

Please note, cord drawn tracks are not recommended for heavy curtains or bent tracks & rods. Some rods can't be cord-drawn - refer to options in Step 1 above. As an alternative to cords, consider using curtain wands - see note at end of this page.

Step 9. Are your tracks/rods to be fitted on the wall or ceiling?

Single tracks and rods will be supplied with 6cm brackets as standard if fitted to the wall. However, several other projections are available so please make a note at the bottom of the quote request form if you have specific requirements. Double brackets have a projection from the wall of 130-160mm + the diameter of the front rod/track.

All track and rod sets are delivered with the correct number of brackets and screws for installation.

Step 10. Save your completed Quote Form and attach it or use it as a reference when you request a quote below.

Curtain Wands - an alternative to cord-drawn rods and tracks

For use on hand drawn tracks and rods where you don’t want to handle the curtains to open and close them.

Designed to help keep the leading edge of curtains clean, they simply clip onto the first or second glide of the curtain track or rod and hang neatly behind the curtain.

Available in all the above standard colours as either a 75cm or a 150cm option. Available as a clear acrylic option in a 75cm length only.
