Sunscreen & Sheer Roller Blind Fabrics

Both sunscreen and sheer fabrics give daytime privacy while still allowing you to enjoy your view to the outside.

Sunscreen fabrics have the added advantage of reducing the amount of UV entering a room, helping to protect your flooring and furnishings from fading and sun damage.

When used solely at night these fabrics don't offer privacy. The degree to which you can see out during the day is the degree to which others will see in from outside at night if interior lights are on and there are no other window coverings.

Design Tips

You will see more through a darker sunscreen/sheer fabric than you will a lighter one. 

A dark sunscreen/sheer fabric will absorb heat during the day and release it into your room. It will also darken your room a small amount. This needs to be taken into consideration when choosing your fabric - in some instances these factors will be an advantage and in others they won't.
